Internet, Ink & Film Productions recognizes that many city and state governments are concerned about getting computers into the homes of their  citizens. And this includes not just those who live at, near, or below the poverty line, or those who are targeted for educational and financial aid by state or federal programs; but also those who are financially much better off.

So, besides grappling with the question of what method should be used to obtain the computers, another question that has often been extremely difficult to answer has been, "Who will provide the training so the computers don't end up as oversized paper weights?"

IIAFP, with its partners, offers the following services to cities and states:

  • help state and local governments develop realistic, holistic answers to both questions.
  • within certain geographic regions, and depending on the economy, we can train and place in meaningful employment, well over a thousand people per year; and we will gladly meet with any governmental representatives to address their digital divide concerns.
  • we address the plight of dislocated workers and develop plans with states and/or localities to address the needs of this population.

  • our services also include video and Internet recording of events for municipalities and state agencies.
