We recognize the importance of education and the tremendous energy and dedication of teachers on all levels. Today, however, the teaching profession is more demanding than ever before and the same applies to the roles of administrators and school systems.
Classroom size, student attention, student behavior and social problems are very common issues in urban schools in the United States; and except for classroom size, the same issues are prevalent in non-urban schools. While addressing these concerns educators and educational systems must contend with the realityf that new technologies that can complement their teaching efforts are often unavailable.
As a result, many of today's high school and college graduates have not received the greatest amount of exposure to information pertaining to their studies, but they are also technologically deficient. Additionally, the teachers, despite their successes, may not have been able to have the class make the academic progress they prefer.
We offer a number of ways to assist local, state, regional or national education systems and institutions enhance the educational experience of their students and teachers:
-
Computer and software training for teachers, students, and staff.
-
Consultant services pertaining to software and hardware.
-
Staff development workshops.
-
Life skills workshops and seminars for students.
Curriculum Specific Software
For school systems and schools, IIAFP develops curriculum specific, interactive software. Specifically, this means that the software is designed to complement the texts currently in use by your institution. Subjects from elementary to high school grades are accommodated.
For a school, the process requires at least a year from start to completion. At least one semester is spent observing the teaching methods, learning styles of the students, and interviewing of students, faculty, and administrators. Concurrent with this process is a study and analysis of the textbooks that are being used. After these basic items are completed, the development of the software will commence.
